Inauguration of Madan Mohan Ramanlal Urban Health Center by Hon Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi Monday -23 rd July 2007

Gujarat Cancer Society in association with Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation developed modern Urban Health Center based on study and design of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. Shri Kshitish Madan Mohan, family donated 20 lacks rupees for the project and mayor contributed 15 lacks from his Mayor Fund. Total turn key project was executed by Shri Anil Bakery and Gujarat Cancer Society spent total 45 lacks.

Center will provide basic health care need of slum dwellers and urban poor. It will also help GCS in promoting cancer awareness and message of tobacco hazard

Inauguration was done by Hon. Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Narendra Modi., Shri Ashok Bhatt Hon Health Minister and Smt.Anandiben Patel Hon Education minister Government of Gujarat along with Dr.Bakul Dholakia, Director IIM were the guest of Honor. Mr.Amit Shah Mayor Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. Mr.I.P.Gautam Commissioner Ahmedabad Municipalty.Dr.Amarjeet Singh Commissioner Health GOG, Shri Anil Bakery, Pro.K.V.Ramani, Shri Prashant Kinariwala General Secretary, Gujarat Cancer Society, Shri Kshitish Madanmohan Secretary GCS and Dr.Pankaj Shah Director GCRI were on the dais.
