CME on Retinoblastoma was organized on September 22, 2007 jointly organised The Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute, Sankara Nethalaya, Chennai and M. J. Ophthalmology Institute.A Round table discussion on collaboration aspects of Retinoblastoma was organized with faculties from Sankara Nethalaya, Chennai, AIIMS, New Delhi , GCRI and M. J. Ophthalmology Institute. The Chairman and Co-chairman for the CME were Dr Pankaj M Shah and Dr Bharat Ghodadara. The organizing secretaries were Dr. Bharat Parikh, Dr. Harsha Panchal and Dr. Shshank Patel. Around 114 ophthalmologists and ophthalmic assistants from all over Gujarat participated in The CME. Cured patients of retinoblastoma lighted the lamp. The lighting lamp ceremony was graced by Dr Pushpaben Belani, Dr. Ushaben Vyas, Dr. Pankaj Shah, Dr. Bharat Ghodadara, Dr. Kirti Patel, Dr. Rajendra Dave, Dr. Shilin Shukla, Dr. Samir Bakshi, Dr. J Biswas, Dr. V Sankaranand, Dr. J. Madhavan, Dr. Vikas Khetan.
During scientific program Dr. Samir Bakshi, Dr. J. Biswas, Dr. V. Sankaranand, Dr. J. Madhavan, Dr. Vikas Khetan, Dr. R. K. Vyas and Dr. Shashank Patel shared their knowledge and expertise with the delegates. The session was chaired by Dr. Asha S. Anand, Dr. Manoj Shah and Dr. Bharat Ghodadara.
