We invited 50 cancer survivor children to participate in kite festival arranged on the terrace of our Community Oncology Centre, Vasna on 9th January, 2010. The kites were having message of cancer awareness, message of making every home tobacco free, message for blood donation for cancer patients and message regarding to be fearless about cancer.

This year also, the kites were specially prepared by Shri Iqbalbhai Belim. Vanature - N.G.O. for saving birds from injury during kite festival conveyed message of safe kite flying and not to use sharp threads during festival. Office bearers of Gujarat Cancer Society and Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute along with members of co-sponsors Heart Foundation & Research Institute, Satkarya Parivar and Zydus Cadila were present.
