The department is well equipped with instruments like Gamma Camera (Siemen's ICON Dicom), GE Infinia, Thyroid uptake probe, one dose calibrator, survey meter, surface contamination monitor, L-bench, thyroid uptake system, fume hood, decontamination kit, lead lined decay drum.

The department also introduced new services of large dose therapy for thyroid carcinoma patients and percentage uptake of thyroid (quantification techniques).
